The Wizards of Eredwynn

I'm Daniel Harris.  Ok, so the picture is from a year or two ago. (spelled 'Decades) I'm an Independent writer and e-book author.   These are my  books of the Wizards of Eredwynn series that have been published by Createspace in paperback and in e-book format by Amazon's Kindle Direct Publishing.  I have been a fan of the fantasy genre since Disney’s The Sword in the Stone.

 

I was born in the late 60’s and remember being a teenager choking on hairspray in the 80’s.  Later I discovered that coffee was really creative juice and now can’t live without it.  I am the father of four living in Arkansas with my wife and youngest daughter.  The others have grown up and have given me lovely grandchildren that I intend spoil and to teach about the fantasy genre too.

 

     On a more personal note I suffer from degenerative disc disease that keeps me bedridden most of the time. I also have the honor of Acute Bi-Polar disorder that is (ha!) controlled by lithium. I don't think there's anything cute about it. It's made writing quite a challange and reading negitive reviews an absolute 'no no'!

 

     The first three books were actually written as one long book. The publisher informed me that there was no way that I could get it printed in the format I wanted unless I chopped it into thirds. A first time Author wouldn't sell a 900 page book, and that made sense to me. I love comments like "the second is just a continuation of the first"...  Ya think?

 

     I've run into 3 types of people during this experience. People love love my books and enjoyed reading them, people that hated the books and me as a person for writing them, and those that don't comment but buy every book that I put out.

     Persons #1 and #3 are fine. #2 should learn that personal attacks are usually counter productive. My wife and I have decided that those people lacked love in their lives or something and now hate everything just because. I'd feel sorry for them if that durn passive aggressive trait would let me.

 

 

This is the type of review that an author likes to see. I try to write something that will be entertaining and keep the reader occupied by the world I create. I seem to have done that for this person and it gives me warm fuzzies.

I hate seeing people make up their own rating systems for Kindle books on here, so I go solely on how I feel after finishing. Having been compelled to immediately read the third book after finishing, I can honestly say I loved this one. I will say that as the girls get older it does get a little more detailed, but I was never terribly uncomfortable.

If any more books by the author show up in my suggestions, I'll definitely give them a chance.
